Le duo Bâbord - Tribord est composé de Dan GRALL (chant, guitare) et Nico BRUNG (accordéon chromatique). Il s’est constitué il y a quelques années autour des chansons de Dan, et depuis ils partagent tous deux leur passion pour la musique et l’univers maritime ou fluvial. De nombreux concerts ont forgé leur expérience de la scène. En France, bien sûr, mais aussi aux Pays-bas, en Pologne, en Norvège, en Allemagne, en Belgique, en Angleterre et au Québec.
Dan, auteur-compositeur, puise son inspiration dans ses racines bretonnes. L’océan, omniprésent dans ses souvenirs d’enfance, entraîne son imagination à travers l’histoire ou le quotidien des hommes de la mer. Installé depuis de nombreuses années en bord de Loire il a également découvert ce fleuve, son passé marinier, ses métiers aujourd’hui disparus.
Nico, a appris à jouer de l’accordéon sur celui de son père. C’est sur ce même accordéon qu’il joue aujourd’hui, avec la délicatesse et le respect que lui inspire cet instrument.Il harmonise les mélodies de Dan, donnant aux chansons leurs couleurs arpégées, traduisant avec subtilité et tendresse le sens des textes...

The duo Bâbord - Tribord is composed with Dan GRALL (vocals, guitar) and Nico BRUNG (chromatic accordion). It was formed in the last few years around the songs of Dan, and since they both share their passion for music and the sea or river universe. Many concerts have forged their stage experience. Dan, songwriter, draws inspiration from his Breton roots. The ocean, omnipresent in his memories of childhood, causes his imagination throughout history and the daily life of men of the sea. Housed in many years on the shore of the river La Loire he also discovered that river and its history.
Nico, learned to play the accordion on his father's. It is on this same accordion he plays today, with the delicacy and the respect that inspires this instrument. It harmonizes the melodies of Dan, giving the songs their colors arpeggiated, with subtlety and tenderness translating the meaning of the texts...
